This philosophy is the brainchild of offensive coordinator and co-author of the book, Michael Marks, who began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Delaware during their 2003 national championship season. He has continued to coach for the past 20 years as an offensive coordinator for several high schools including Eastern Christian Academy and culminating at Smyrna High, in Smyrna Delaware. Co-author, Anthony Marks, has been in the high school football ranks for 45 years at various schools in upstate New York as both a defensive coordinator and head coach. Both authors are graduates of Ithaca College where they stand together as one of the only father/son three- year varsity football letter winners at that school.
